Occupied Kashmir, the third suicide of an Indian Army officer in a month

NEW DELHI Sep 01 (Online): Another officer of the Central Reserve Police Force, a paramilitary force in India, ended his life by hanging from the ceiling.

According to an Indian news agency, an officer of the Central Reserve Police Force committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling in the military base of the state of Assam.

In this way, the number of Indian Army personnel who committed suicide in a month has increased to 3. The official was identified as Bipan Chandra.

Fellow officers shifted the suicidal Bipin Chandra to the nearby military hospital where doctors confirmed his death. The cause of death has been given as suffocation and fractured clavicle.

The police said that a suicide note was found in Bipan Chandra’s room and nothing was found to determine the reason for the suicide. The dead body was shifted to the native village after necessary operations.

On the other hand, the spokesman of the Central Reserve Police Force said that an inquiry committee was formed to investigate the incident.
