Second shift program in government schools feared to be closed in KPK

PESHAWAR, May 29 (Online): Second shift program in government schools are feared to be closed in Khayber Pakhtun Khawa (KPK) due to non-payment of salaries.

According to sources, many teachers have left teaching in second shift due to non-payment of salaries.

8 thousand employees are deprived of salaries for 4 months.

The second shift was started in KPK tribal and 27 bandobasti district schools.

In this regard additional secretary of education has said, funds have been issued for program and salaries will be paid soon.

Additional Secretary has said, 3, 330000 have been given to relevant deputy commissioner and education officers.
