Federal cabinet validates NSC decisions on 9 May incidents

ISLAMABAD 19 May (Online): Federal Cabinet has endorsed the decisions made by National Security Committee (NSC) regarding 9 May incidents.
Federal cabinet meeting was chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Shareef on Friday.

Cabinet condemned 9 May incidents in strong terms.

Meeting has reviewed the action against voilenets, arsonists and extremists of 9 May incidents and later validated the strict action against involved elements and NSC decisions.

Cabinet also validated the 11 and 03 May decisions of legislative committee.

Approval has also been given to action against those who have not transferred relief on petroleum to the people.

Petroleum ministry was directed to take action against those who have not transferred the relief on petroleum to people.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Shareef also took cabinet in confidence over the meetings with Iranian President and briefed them over bilateral relations and trade.

Sources further told that Federal cabinet also approved national sports policy however ministers were asked to pay more attention to the national sports policy.

Cabinet was also briefed over ongoing census in the country.
Road to Makkah project was also validated by Cabinet meeting.
