ISLAMABAD 15 April (Online): Federal finance and revenue minister Ishaq Dar held virtual meeting with president Asian Infrastructure investment bank (AIIB) Jin Liqun yesterday (Saturday).
Finance ministry said Ishaq Dar informed President AIIB about economic situation and government steps for sustainable development.
Ishaq Dar also appreciated AIIB’s unshakable support for restoration of recent flood effectees of Pakistan.
President praised the relationship between Pakistan and AIIB.
He also praised policies adopted by government of Pakistan for to improve people’s economic situation.
Jin Liqun also explained AIIB role in progress and development in basic structure and investment in Pakistan. He reiterated his commitment to support Pakistan in this difficult time.
Pakistan’s economic indicators are heading in right direction, he said, and there are huge hug development opportunities for Pakistan.
Revenue minister thanked Jin Liqun and his institution for his continues support to Pakistan.
Meeting was part of spring meetings: Finance Ministry state minister for finance Aesha Ghos Pasha, special advisor to Prime Minister Tariq Pasha and other high authorities were also present in this video link meeting.
