PTI moves ECP against rigging in PK-63 Nowshera by-polls

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate Mian Muhammad Umar Kakakhel on Monday has moved Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) against rigging in PK-63 Nowshera by-elections.

The PTI leader has claimed that 6000 votes in the constituency were missing. We have submitted clear and undeniable proofs in ECP, he told.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidate Ikhtiar Wali had won the PK-63 by-polls with 21,122 votes while PTI’s Mian Umar was able to secure 17,023 votes.

Earlier, Defense Minister Pervez Khattak had also alleged that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) won the Nowshera by-elections by rigging.

He said that what happened in Nowshera election will be revealed soon. We will go to election commission to prove that there was a fraud in the PS-63 Nowshera by-election, he added.

The Defense Minister claimed that the PML-N cast 6,000 fake votes, there was no record of those votes and that all the lists were checked in two days and their theft was caught.
