ETPB reserves judgment on action against Sheikh Rashid in illegal occupation of case of 7 units including Lall Haveli

RAWALPINDI, Sep 26 (Online): Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) has reserved judgment on action against former minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmad in the case of illegal occupation of Board land of 7 units including Lall Haveli.

The Deputy Administrator (DA) ETPB Asif Khan rejected counsel for Sheikh Rashid plea for granting more time.
DA Asif Khan maintained we have not much time to hear your case only. You could not even present heirs and complete documents so far. It means you have nothing regarding record.

Zahid Iqbal Janjua counsel for Sheikh Rashid appeared before DA ETPB and he presented documents of 2 out of 7 units which are under occupation of Sheikh Rashid.

DA ETPB while declaring the documents presented to him as incomplete said you were to present the death certificate of heir of unit No 158.

Counsel for Sheikh Rashid said NADRA system is dysfunctional since 5 days due to which FRC could not be obtained.

DA ETPB said NADRA system has remained under control of Sheikh Rashid. There should be no difficulty for you.
DA ETPB further inquired where are the documents of remaining five out of 7 units which are under possession.

Counsel for Sheikh Rashid requested more time be given for filing documents and tracing the heirs.
DA ETPB made it clear we have not so much time to keep on hearing only your case. You could not present any complete document and heirs so far. It means you have nothing with you. Therefore, we cannot give more time regarding the possession of land of ETPB.

The DA reserved judgment on the case regarding illegal occupation of 7 units including LALL Haveli.
