ISLAMABAD, Aug 17 (APP): Senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz, Talal Chaudhry Wednesday said that Imran Khan’s theft has been caught in Tosha Khana and foreign funding cases and he is no longer honest and trustworthy.
“Any candidate not fulfilling the conditions of Article 62 and 63 of the constitution is ineligible to participate in the elections”, he said during a press conference held here.
Talal Chaudhry said that the guardian of the state of Madina has eaten the entire Toshakhana but no one is making him accountable.
Imran Khan’s participation in the elections from nine constituencies has been challenged and if he is allowed to participate in the elections, it would mean that there are two different laws in Pakistan, one for favourites and the other for common people.
He said that Imran Khan is trying to fool the people by creating a narrative of torture on Shahbaz Gill.
The PML-N leader said that all the documents of Tosha Khana would be made public to show the real face of Imran Khan before the public.
He said that those who had to lie down in front of the tanks have fled the country overnight.
Talal Chaudhry said that objections are being raised to Imran Khan’s contesting elections from nine constituencies and submitting nomination papers. “It is necessary for any candidate participating in the elections to be honest and fulfill Article 62 and 63 of the constitution”, he said.
How can such a person who has emptied the entire Tosha khana and has not declared it in his assets can participate in the elections, he questioned.
He said that examples of thousands of such cases can be given when candidates were disqualified for not revealing a single Marla land or a bank account with amount of only Rs. 10,000.
Election Commission of Pakistan itself has written in its decision that Imran Khan has given five fake affidavits during the foreign funding case then how can a forger be honest and trustworthy?
Explaining the difference between the case of Imran Khan and Nawaz Sharif, Talal Chaudhry said that Nawaz Sharif was disqualified for not declaring his receivable salary from his son’s company however the Chairman PTI emptied the entire Tosha Khana, sold in the market at his desired price and didn’t declare these in his annual statement of assets.
He said that the ECP should fulfill its responsibility; Chief Election Commissioner was appointed by Imran Khan.
If Imran Khan is really honest and trustworthy, then why are they running around seeking a court injunction?, he asked.
The PML-N leader said that Interior Minister Punjab has denied Imran Khan’s statement of torture on Shahbaz Gill and said that Shahbaz Gill is completely safe and has not been subjected to any kind of torture. If any torture has really taken place then Punjab Government is responsible for it as Adiala Jail is managed by Punjab Government.
Imran Khan fears that his lies would be exposed, when Shahbaz Gill would start talking like a parrot and is creating a narrative of torture on Shahbaz Gill so that later he can say that Shahbaz Gill’s statement was taken by torturing him.
Imran Khan can’t fool the people anymore, Talal Chaudhry said while asking the judiciary to reconsider its decision.
