Online education does not quite substitute on-campus study: Dr Yasmin Rashid

LAHORE, Feb 12 (Online): Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid said on Saturday that online study is not a substitute to on-campus education.

Speaking as the 16th Convocation of the Beacon house National University’s Institute of Psychology, the Health Minister said teacher student relationship is extremely important for learning of students. Dean Institute of Psychology Dr. Roohi Khalid welcomed the Minister.

In her speech, the Health Minister said, “Teachers have pivotal role in personality development of students. For a civilized society parents and teachers play their key role. We always earned respect by respecting our teachers.

Corona Pandemic has affected the entire world. Today is a special day for students. All world has appreciated Pakistan’s performance against Corona Pandemic. Vaccination campaign is underway at full pace in Punjab.

By the efforts of Dr. Roohi Khalid all students have graduated today. The real exam in life has started now for students. Teachers impart their lifelong experiences to students. On our part we are working to provide good quality healthcare services to people as per vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan.”
