Prime Minister AJK meets Kashmiri delegations of in Saudi Arabia

Makkah Mukarramah (PID AJK) The Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi has said that legislation would be enacted soon to give the right of vote to the overseas.

He said overseas has a major role in the construction and development of Azad Kashmir and sending foreign exchange for the betterment of the economy.

He was talking to delegations of the Kashmiri and Pakistani community who met the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir here on Friday. The delegations appreciated the steps taken by the PTI government in Azad Kashmir for the socio economic welfare for the people of the state.

The Prime Minister said that the PTI government would implement the vision of Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan for the development and prosperity of the people of Azad Kashmir.

Local body elections are being held to transfer power to the grass root level and added that reforms are also underway for the restoration of merit, eradication of corruption and has launched a comprehensive development program for the wellbeing of the people of the state.

The delegations appreciated the steps taken by the PTI government in Azad Kashmir for the socio economic welfare for the people of the state.

The Kashmir community, while paying tribute to the decision of the government to give the right to vote to overseas and local body elections, expressed the hope that Azad Kashmir would become a welfare state under the Leadership of Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi.
