Siraj rejects ‘IMF-made’ mini-budget

Peshawar – December 3 (Online): Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Chief Siraj-ul-Haq on Friday alleged that government’s expected ‘mini-budget’ was made as per the directions of International Monetary Fund (IMF) said that his party rejected the mini budget.

“It will only add-up to inflation, poverty and unemployment” Siraj said, addressing a press talk after political gathering in Peshawar.
JI Chief said that incumbent Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government had ‘propelled country 30 years back’. “Current government is supporting mafias and they are sitting in parliament and cabinet” he added.

Siraj-ul-Haq said that corrupt mafias and Pakistan could not go side-by-side. He also alleged opposition alliance PDM of helping government on every decision it made. “They have signed a silent agreement” Siraj said while alleging government, opposition of being united.

Siraj said that existence of Pakistan only lied in adaptation of ‘Islamic system’. People were dying of hunger and inflation. “Getting loans from IMF on strict conditions means to compromise national sovereignty” he said.

Talking about coming local government elections in KPK, Siraj said that his party would bag a majority win in local body polls. “We will convert Peshawar in to city of flowers. We have worked beyond any personal gains and motives” he claimed.

Siraj alleged military leadership of intervening politics. “For past 74 years, military generals and corrupt feudal have been ruling Pakistan. They perfidy against our ideology and geography” Siraj claimed.
