5.8-magnitude quake hits Mount Buller, Australia — USGS

BEIJING, Sept. 22 (Xinhua/APP):An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 jolted 38 km S of Mount Buller, Australia at 23:15:53 GMT on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 37.4883 degrees south latitude and 146.3641 degrees east longitude.
