Skipper Babar Azam meets prospective chairman Rameez Raja

Karachi, September 02 (Online): National cricket team’s captain Babar Azam said that his meeting with PCB’s new prospective chairman Rameez Raja was good.

While talking to media on Thursday, Babar Azam said that prospective chairman, during the meeting, shared his thoughts and strategy with me.

According to sources, Babar Azam said that if the entire New Zealand team had come to Pakistan, they would have been very well prepared, adding that “I hope the whole New Zealand team will come to Pakistan next year”.

He added that the ODI team has just been announced, we will discuss for T20 squad and review the issue. There are problems in the middle order and we are thinking of solutions.

Babar Azam also said that despite their good performance, they enjoy criticism. “I try not only listen to the criticism, but also pay attention to their performance”, Azam maintained.

On a question about dropping Sarfaraz, Babar Azam said that chief selector Muhammad Wasim had given an explanation in this regard.

He further said that they are determined to show good performance against India, Indian team has been away from T20 cricket for a long time, efforts will be made to win against India in World T20.
