Major breakthrough in PTI-Govt team talks: PTI negotiating team allowed to meet Imran Khan in Adiala jail

ISLAMABAD, DEC 24 (ONLINE): A major breakthrough has come to fore in the talks between PTI and government as PTI committee has been allowed to meet PTI founder Imran Khan in Adiala jail.

PTI negotiating team will go to Adiala jail today (Wednesday) to meet Imran Khan as permission has been granted to the team in this regard.

Both sides have agreed on continuing the talks.

According to sources major breakthrough has been achieved during the first meeting between negotiating teams of PTI and government as PTI negotiating team will go to Adiala jail for consultation with PTI founder on all issues today. Permission has been given for making consultation with PTI founder in Adiala jail.

The committee will brief PTI founder with reference to preliminary talks. Consultation will be made with PTI former chairman to end the disputes.

Chief Minister (CM) KP Ali Amin Gandapur could not participate in the talks due to his engagement over Kurram Agency situation. However he will be the part of next negotiating team.

PTI has appointed Sahibzada Hamid Raza official spokesperson of negotiating committee. He will brief media on all the negotiation process and progress.

The next meeting of negotiating committees of government and PTI will take place on January 2. Opposition will place demands in writing in the next meeting.
