KP volleyball trials for national camp on July 30: Khalid Waqar

PESHAWAR, Jul 27 (APP):Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Trials for Pakistan Volleyball Camp will be held on July 30, Secretary General and former coach of Pakistan team Khaled Waqar Chamkani told media men here on Saturday.
Talking to media men, Khalid Waqar said that the trials for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Volleyball Talent Hunt Scheme for National Camp organized by Pakistan Volleyball Federation will be held on July 30 at PSB Coaching Center Qayyum Sports Complex Peshawar at nine in the morning in which players from all over the province will participate.

According to Khalid Waqar, Secretary of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Volleyball Association, U-16 and U-20 players will participate in the trials. Coach Vukochan from Argentina will supervise the trials. He said that the Talent Scheme will be organized across the country including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He said that a training camp will be held for the players selected in the trials, in which teams will be selected for the national U16 and U20 Volleyball Championships. All those players, whose height is 6 feet, date of birth less than 01-01-2009 for U16 and 01-01-2005 for U20 can participate in the trials.
It has been directed to bring Form-B and a copy of ID card with a passport-size photograph as well to ascertain their age group. The players selected under the talent scheme will be included in the Pakistan Volleyball training camp to be trained and coached under newly inducted Volleyball coach Vukochan from Argentina.

Khalid Waqar said that there is no dearth of talent in volleyball in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa which is why it is an open trial and the volleyball aspirants have been directed to participate in the trials and reach for the trials in time at 9.00 a.m.
Khaliq Waqar said that the players would also be registered before the trials to be conducted in both the U16 and U20 categories. The selected probable would be sent to Islamabad for the national camp, he concluded.
