NEW DELHI, June 21 (Online): Recently, producer Boney Kapoor disclosed that he and his brother, actor Anil Kapoor, were not speaking due to Anil’s disappointment over not being cast in ‘No Entry 2’. Anil Kapoor has since responded, opting not to delve into the rift during promotions for an upcoming television show season, emphasizing it as a private family matter. In an interview with DNA, Anil Kapoor brushed off widespread reports of the situation, stating it was acceptable and questioning the need to discuss family issues. Regarding the ‘No Entry 2’ casting decision, Boney Kapoor opted for Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Dhawan, and Arjun Kapoor under director Anees Bazmee’s helm, which sparked the rift.

A few days back, producer Boney Kapoor revealed that he and his brother, actor Anil Kapoor, were not speaking because Anil was upset about not being cast in the film ‘No Entry 2’, and now, Anil has responded to the situation. While promoting an upcoming television show season, Anil sought to avoid discussing the rift, stating it was a matter best kept within the family.
Talking to DNA, Anil Kapoor said that it’s a personal matter.Upon being informed that Boney’s statement had been widely reported, Anil said that it’s okay. He added that what is there to discuss about family matters? And Boney is never wrong.
The conflict between the two brothers arose when Boney chose not to cast Anil in the ‘No Entry’ sequel and failed to inform him privately. Instead, the film ‘No Entry 2’ now features Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Dhawan, and Arjun Kapoor, under the direction of Anees Bazmee.
Later, in a conversation with News 18, Boney Kapoor confirmed that he and Anil were not on speaking terms. He said, “I love him too dearly, I just can’t do anything to hurt him. This is something professional, so I have to follow the diktat of the director, who calls the shots”

Anees also weighed in and told Siddharth Kannan, “As far as I know, the two brothers have immense love for each other. Their animosity is temporary. I feel they both should sort out their differences and I don’t need to intervene. They actually don’t need anyone.”
