Court reserves judgment on petitions of sons of Nawaz Sharif seeking suspension of their permanent arrest warrants

ISLAMABAD, March 07 (Online): Accountability Court (AC) has reserved judgment on the petitions seeking suspension of permanent arrest warrants of sons of Nawaz Sharif. The petitions of Hasan Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz sons of Nawaz Sharif seeking suspension of arrest warrants came up for hearing before judge Nasir Javed Rana of AC Islamabad Thursday.

Qazi Misbah ul Haque advocate and Rana Irfan advocate appeared on behalf of sons of Nawaz Sharif in the court.
Deputy prosecutor general Sardar Muzaffar and prosecutor Sohail Arif appeared in the court from the side of NAB.
During the hearing of the case Qazi Misbah ul Haq advocate said all other accused have been acquitted by high court in reference. Hassan and Hussain Nawaz will come to Pakistan on March 12 and appear before the court.

Defence counsel Qazi Misbah ul Haq prayed the court to suspend permanent arrest warrants.
NAB prosecutor Sohail Arif said law says the accused should appear before the court. They will have to appear. Without it the arrest warrants cannot be suspended. Warrant means to bring the accused in the court. If Hassan Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz want to appear in the court then opportunity should be given to them.

The defence counsel said there were 5 accused in Avenfield. The AC awarded punishment to 3 accused. IHC had acquitted three accused.
Defence counsel Qazi Misbah requested the court to suspend the permanent arrest warrants of Hassan Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz.
It is to mention here that Hassan Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz had approached court a day before in connection with suspension of their permanent arrest warrants before arrival in Pakistan.

Hassan Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz have filed petitions in NAB references Aven field and Al-azizia reference.
The AC had declared both of the accused proclaimed offenders 7 years before.
