BBC radio and TV personality Peter Grant has passed away shortly after receiving a cancer diagnosis.
Grant was known for his appearances on various radio stations, including Magic, Hallam FM, Plymouth Sound, Durham FM, Radio Aire, TFM, and BBC Radio Newcastle and Tees.
He also hosted the TV show Made In Tyne and Wear and contributed travel and weather updates on BBC Look North breakfast.
