An Australian grandmother and her teenage granddaughter were looking through an old family photo album.
The granddaughter laughed and said,
“Grandma, you always tell everyone you were the prettiest girl in the whole town. I think you’re exaggerating.”
Grandma smiled confidently.
“Exaggerating? Darling, when I was your age, boys used to ride bicycles past my house all day just to catch a glimpse of me.”
The granddaughter rolled her eyes.
“Grandma, that’s because there wasn’t any internet, Netflix, or smartphones back then!”
Without missing a beat, Grandma grinned and replied,
“Exactly… and they still chose to spend their free time looking at me instead!”
The granddaughter burst into laughter, closed the photo album, and admitted,
“Alright, Grandma… I think you just won that argument.” 😂
