A newly married couple, Ben and Lisa, were sitting at the kitchen table discussing their future.
Ben smiled and said, “Honey, I think we should start planning for kids.”
Lisa nodded. “I agree. How many do you want?”
Ben thought for a moment. “Maybe two.”
“Only two?” Lisa asked.
“Yep,” Ben replied confidently.
“Why not three or four?”
Ben leaned back in his chair and said, “Because raising kids is expensive!”
Lisa laughed. “That’s your reason?”
“Absolutely,” said Ben.
A few days later, Ben came home and found Lisa surrounded by baby name books.
Excited, he asked, “Wow! Are we expecting already?”
Lisa smiled and said,
“No, I’m just preparing.”
Ben grinned. “Preparing for what?”
Lisa replied:
“For the day you discover that planning for kids and having kids are two completely different departments!” 😂👶📋🏃♂️💸
