A blonde and a redhead owned a little ranch together, and disaster struck when their only bull dropped dead.
“We need another bull fast,” the blonde sighed.
The redhead checked their cashbox. “We’ve only got $500. I’ll head to the livestock market and see what I can do.”
A few hours later, the redhead found the perfect bull for exactly $499.
Problem was… she only had one dollar left.
So she rushed to the telegraph office to send a message to the blonde to bring the truck and trailer.
“How much per word?” she asked.
“One dollar,” the clerk replied.
The redhead froze. One word only.
After thinking hard, she grinned and said, “Send this word: comfortable.”
The telegraph operator looked confused.
“How in the world will your blonde friend know that means to bring the trailer?”
The redhead smirked.
“Easy… she reads very slowly…”
