Sunny Leone denied permission to perform at Kerala University: Report
The vice-chancellor of Kerala University has reportedly denied actress Sunny Leone permission to perform a dance show on the University College of Engineering campus in Thiruvananthapuram on July 5.
According to Malayalam media outlets, the University vice-chancellor Dr Mohanan Kunnummal instructed the registrar to ensure that the college university does not include Leone’s show in the programme list, Manorama and Mathrubhumi.

The report further stated that in November last year, four students died and over 60 were injured in a stampede-like situation at a concert in Cochin University of Science and Technology (Cusat) in Kerala’s Ernakulam district.
Recently, Sunny who is gearing up for the filmmaker Pampally’s upcoming Malayalam film, took to her Instagram to share a glimpse of the muhurat ceremony on the sets- as she began shooting for the film.
Sharing the pictures, Sunny wrote, ““I’m so excited to be part of this amazing Malayalam film that I ended up burning my hands. Director: @pampally,”
On the work front, Sunny Leone has worked in several Bollywood films like ‘Jism 2’, ‘Ragini MMS 2’, ‘Ek Paheli Leela’, ‘Kuch Kuch Locha Hai’, ‘Mastizaade’, and many more. She was last seen in the film ‘Kennedy’ alongside Rahul Bhat, which was released in 2023. She also appeared in south films like ‘Thee Ivan’ and ‘Mrudhu Bhave Dhruda Kruthye’. The actress is yet to announce her next big Bollywood film.
