In a tweet Friday), he prayed for the prosperity of the Pakistan and peace and freedom for those facing brutal oppression in Kashmir, Palestine and anywhere in the world.
He tweeted “ Happy New Year. May Allah help the sick & those in financial, personal, or emotional distress. May those facing brutal oppression in Kashmir, Palestine, indeed anywhere in the world find peace & freedom. I pray that Pakistan & all its people become prosperous & live a happy life.
He also prayed for the sick and the distressed.
