No-confidence move to be tabled after completing numbers: Shahid Khaqan

ISLAMABAD – February 8 (ONLINE): Former Prime Minister and PML-N senior leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said Tuesday that no-confidence move against Prime Minister Imran Khan will be tabled after completion of the numbers in the parliament.

Criticizing PTI-led central government while talking to media on Tuesday, the former premier said that Pakistan’s corruption index increased during PTI’s tenure. “If this [trend] continues, then Prime Minister Imran Khan would be the most corrupt prime minister of the world” he said.

He said that government was victimizing his party politically by establishing false corruption cases against opposition’s top leadership. “Will the people who wasted billions of rupees of the country not be questioned? This will be asked from the NAB chairman as who gave you the right to form false cases against us?” Shahid Khaqan Abbasi asked.

The PML-N leader said that it should be looked when Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry had spoken truth. “Political parties remain in connection with each other. The PPP itself left the PDM. If the PPP wants to come back to the PDM, then it needs to revive its confidence,” it maintained.
