MURREE/ISLAMABAD, June 08 (Online): PML-N president Mian Nawaz Sharif while declaring Imran Khan major impediment on the way to talks has made it clear when PTI founder not want to talk to political forces and is desirous of holding talks with establishment only then how can we talk to him.
He held they had extended hand of friendship to Imran Khan in the past but he had gone to some other side.
According to sources during his meeting with PML-N senators in Murree when some senators questioned Nawaz Sharif about talks with Imran Khan PML-N president unfurled all the story and he made his stance clear in regard to talks.
According to PML-N sources Nawaz Sharif declared Imran Khan major hindrance on the way to talks.
The senators put question to Nawaz Sharif on party policy about talks with Imran Khan.
Responding to it Nawaz Sharif said PTI founder himself is not serious in holding talks. How can we talk to him. PTI founder construes our good intent and sincerity as our weakness.
In the past we extended hand of friendship to Imran Khan but he jerked it. I myself had gone to Imran Khan in Bani Gala. I wanted that PTI founder and we should move together but he went to some other side.
Nawaz Sharif further said doubtlessly it is responsibility of political forces to go alongside together for political and democratic stability. Despite immense opposition I and Benazir Bhutto got united for the sake of country and nation. Benazir Bhutto was a big political leader. We entered into charter of democracy. PML-N and PPP played role jointly in revival of democracy and supremacy of constitution.
