I will be freed from agony one day: Dr Aafia Siddiqui sounds optimistic

WASHINGTON, JAN 18 (ONLINE): Pakistani neuroscientist Dr Aafia Siddiqui who is imprisoned in US jail has hoped she will be released after new evidences come in her favor in case against her.

According to British new channel SKY news, Dr Aafia Siddiqui told it particularly through her counsel.
Declaring herself innocent Aafia said she hoped she was not forgotten. I will soon be released one day.

She held I am victim of injustice. Every day is agonizing day. This is not easy.

I will be freed from this agony one day, she sounded optimistic.
Clive Stafford Smith counsel for Aafia Siddiqui demanded of outgoing president of US Joe Biden to forgive his client. He has presented him a dossier containing 76500 words.

President Joe Biden has time till Monday to consider the application seeking pardon for Aafia Siddiqui as Donald Trump will take oath on this day.

Biden has granted presidential pardon to 47 people so far and he has curtailed sentence of 3989 people.

Counsel for Aafia Siddiqui while citing reference to evidence of witnesses which were not available at the time of hearing of the case claimed she was declared suspect due to errors of intelligence.

He alleged when Dr Aafia Siddiqui was on the visit of Pakistan in 2003, Pakistan inter services intelligence agency took her into its custody along with three children and handed over her to CIA which took her to Bagram airbase in Afghanistan.
The counsel to Aafia Siddiqui said US intelligence made wrong assessment while agencies were of the view Dr Aafia Siddiqui was a nuclear physicist which is working for making radio active bomb. While she had done Phd in Education.

US justice department told SKY news about all the allegations against Dr Aafia Siddiqui that it will avoid from giving reaction.
CIA too has not given reply to our plea regarding showing  reaction.
