Cases of violation of sanctity of Masjid-e- Nabvi registered against PTI leaders in the country challenged

ISLAMABAD, May 02 (Online): The cases of violation of sanctity of Masjid-e-Nabvi registered against the PTI leadership in the country have been challenged.

PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry has filed petition n Islamabad High Court (IHC) that FIA or Police be stopped from harassing him and his associates nominated in these cases.

The petition also said that the orders be issued to bring all the cases registered against them on record.

The petition said that government be prevented from violating the fundamental rights of the petitioner and his associates. They also be informed about the caused leading to registration of these cases.

The court has been requested that any action taken by police or FIA against them be declared illegal and null and void.

PTI legal team comprising advocate Faisal Farid and advocate Ali Bokhari has filed the petition.

Assistant Director high court Asad Khan has confirmed the filing of petition by Fawad Chaudhry.

A petition regarding protective bail of Shahbaz Gull has also been filed.
