KABUL, Afghanistan – August 1 (ONLINE) Afghanistan has received international aid of four billion dollars on humanitarian grounds, it emerged.
According to a news agency, the aid was received by The Afghanistan Bank (DBA) Monday and has been transferred to Afghanistan International Bank.
DBA, while thanking global community, said in a statement that transparency will be ensured during utilization of the aid.
The last tranche of humanitarian aid consisted of an amount of 3.20 billion dollars, and the money will be added up to country’s foreign exchange to boost dying economy.
