ISLAMABAD, APRIL 07 (ONLINE): Nine Khwarij were killed by security forces during intelligence based operation in the area of Takwara , Dera Ismail Khan District on the night between April 6 and April 7.
According to the ISPR, weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed Khwarij.
High value target Kharji Ring leader Shireen was also killed among 9 Khwarij.
Kharji Ring leader Shireen was most wanted by the law enforcement agencies due to his involvement in several terror related activities.
Besides being involved in target killing of numerous innocent civilians, he was also responsible for Shahadat of Captain Hasnain Akhtar.
The ISPR said the operation has avenged the heinous act and has brought the main perpetrator to justice.
Clearance and search operation is underway in the area so that any other Karijj could be eliminated.
Interior minister Mohsin Naqvi said the Security forces thwarted the nefarious designs of Khwarij terrorists through timely operation. We salute security forces for sending Khwarij to hell.
