PESHAWAR, May 30 (APP): At least two persons including a woman were injured when an explosive device went off outside a Councilor’s house in Kohati Gate here on Monday.
Police said, the explosives were planted near the gate of the house which also damaged the gate of the house and shattered windows of nearby houses.
Police arrived at the scene, cordoned off the area and launched an investigation. The injured were shifted to nearby hospital where their condition was stated to be out of danger. According to police, 0.45 kilogram of explosive was used in the blast.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has taken notice of the blast and sought a report from the police officials.
