Terrorists attack on police station in DI Khan : 10 policemen martyred

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Feb 05 (Online): Terrorists attack on police station in Dera Ismail Khan (DIK) has led to martyrdom of 10 policemen.
According to police the terrorists attacked a police station in Daraban tehsil of DI Khan late on Sunday night,. Resultantly 10 policemen were martyred and nine others were injured. .

Police said the police station was attacked from all the four sides and hand grenades were hurled during the attack amid intense firing.
In retaliatory firing by police the terrorists while taking cover of dark made good escape.
Those injured in the attack were shifted to DHQ hospital.

Police and security forces have besieged the area and started search operation to trace the terorists.

It is pertinent to mention here the terrorists had attacked Daraban police station on December 12, 2023 in DI khan martyring 3 police men .
The terrorists had hit their explosive-laden vehicle with the main gate of the police station while 16 security personnel were also injured during firing.
