SSP Operations Qazi reviews security arrangements for Friday prayers

ISLAMABAD, Mar 06 (APP): Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, visited various duty points across the federal capital to review security arrangements for Friday prayers, including deployments at mosques, imambargahs, and other sensitive locations.

An official told APP on Friday that the SSP inspected security duties and check posts established to ensure peace and maintain law and order during the congregational prayers.

He said SSP Qazi met police officers and personnel deployed at different locations, including mosques and imambargahs, and reviewed the overall security arrangements. SSP Qazi also briefed the deployed officers regarding the nature of their duties and issued necessary instructions for the effective discharge of responsibilities.

SSP Qazi directed officers to remain alert, ensure effective checking at check posts, and maintain close coordination to prevent any untoward incident. He reiterated that Islamabad Police remain fully committed to maintaining peace and ensuring the safety of citizens across the federal capital.
