Attock, Aug 25 (Online): The Attock Police on Thursday announced to nab as many as six outlaws including a wife assassinator, drugs sellers and proclaimed offenders (PO) wanted in different criminal activities.
According to the police spokesman, New Airport police arrested Ajmal Mehmood who has shot dead his wife on August 16 in village Morat and fled away with the weapon utilized in cold blood murder of his wife.
The spokesman said that a team of heinous crime investigation unit led
by sub inspector Zubair Hayat has traced the accused and send him behind the bars after recovery of the weapon utilized in the murder.
He further informed that during crackdown launched against social elements, Rangoo Police during two separate activities arrested two drugs smugglers identified as Shah Jehan and Shoukat Ali and recovered 2.90 kilogram chars from their possession.
The new airport Police arrested a proclaimed offender identified as Abdul Rasheed wanted in dacoity case while Pindigheb Police arrested Hasnain and Saqlin wanted in the theft cases and send them behind the bars after registration of separate ceases against them.
