Police arrest gang involved in bloody robbery

PESHAWAR, Aug 08 :The Bhana Mari Police Station on Thursday successfully arrested a gang responsible for a bloody robbery at an ultrasound machine warehouse on Omar Gul Road. The operation led to the recovery of stolen ultrasound machines, a Suzuki vehicle, a rickshaw, the murder weapon and mobile phones.

Following the robbery, which occurred four days ago near Khayber Wedding Hall, CCPO Qasim Ali Khan and SSP Operations Kashif Zulfiqar formed a special team, led by SP City Division Ehsan Shah, to apprehend the culprits. The team used modern investigative methods and CCTV footage to identify and arrest the suspects.

The main suspect, Abdul Rahman, was arrested and identified his accomplice, Ali Noor, from whom a 9MM pistol with a silencer was recovered. During the operation, a third suspect, Amjad, was also arrested after exchanging fire with the police.

The police recovered five ultrasound machines, the victim’s mobile phones, and the weapon used in the crime. Further investigation is ongoing.
