Islamabad November 04 (Online): A resident of Koral area of Islamabad has appealed IG Islamabad Qazi Jamil ur Rehman to take action against police officers for illegally raiding his house and arresting his brothers.
Chudhry Tahir Mehrban told this correspondent that a team of police officials in uniform and plane cloths led by SP Usman Tipu and SHO Khurram Shehzad broke into his house few days back and took away his three brothers, Shahid, Zahid and Amjad, with them without any legal documents.
They kept them in the lockup for a night and later released after taking assurance that they will not discuss this matter with anyone on their return. He said his brothers names were even didn’t mention in any daily report registered by police.
Tahir Mehrban has appealed to the IG Islamabad to take notice of the police harassment and disgrace of him and his family members as well as violation of the law and order action against them.
He also appealed the IG to register a case against them for their harassment to innocent citizens. The police team not only arrested his brothers without showing any document of proof but also insulted and cursed him and his family members at home.
