FAISALABAD, Nov 30 (APP):Lyallpur Heritage Foundation has inked a Memorandum of Understandings (MoU) with Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF) to promote historical heritage and provide opportunities to students and researchers in this field.
In this connection, a formal MoU signing ceremony was arranged in DC Office where Deputy Commissioner (DC) Imran Hamid Sheikh Chairman Lyallpur Heritage Foundation and Dean of Arts & Social Sciences GCUF Dr. Asim Mehmood signed the agreement on behalf of their institutions.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner said that under the MoU, GCUF students and researchers would have access to the historic buildings preserved under the Lyallpur Heritage Foundation and complete their research in addition to promote history of this region in the world through their articles.
He said that the MoU was a revolutionary initiative which would help make future generation familiar with the history, culture and lifestyle of this region.
Chairman History Department GCUF Prof Dr. Rizwanullah Kokab, In-charge Foundation Bazla Manzoor and others were also present on the occasion.
