Karachi: Pakistan Post Office launchs NADRA counters

The Pakistan Post Office in Karachi has taken a significant step to enhance citizen convenience by setting up NADRA counters within its premises. These counters offer a range of services, including the renewal of Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs) and temporary address changes. This initiative aims to address the growing demand for services at traditional NADRA offices and reduce congestion.

Residents of Karachi, Pakistan’s most populous city, can now access services like CNIC renewal, B-form renewal, issuance of birth certificates, and Family Registration Certificate (FRC) facilities at seven specified post offices. The NADRA counters will operate from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., providing a more accessible and convenient option for essential identity-related services.

This introduction of NADRA counters at post offices is expected to ease the pressure on traditional NADRA offices, given the rising demand for these services. The collaboration between the Pakistan Post Office and NADRA reflects their joint effort to enhance service accessibility and streamline the process of obtaining vital documents. The Postmaster General Karachi is overseeing the implementation of these services, underscoring the commitment to delivering efficient and citizen-friendly solutions for identity-related matters.
