ISLAMABAD, JUNE 25 (ONLINE): Omar Hayat who is arrested in murder case of social media influencer Sana Yousuf 17 has pleaded guilty before court besides recording his important statement.
He confessed he had committed this act under anger and revenge because Sana had refused to meet him.
Omar Hayat 22 was presented in the court of judicial magistrate Saad Nazir where he recorded his confessional statement under section 164 of CRPC.
In the statement the accused confessed that he wanted to meet Sana but her persistent refusal provoked him to such extent that he took the step of conducting murder attack.
According to accused when he went to home of Sana for meeting her for first time, he kept on waiting the whole day long. But Sana refused to see him and asked him to go back.
Omar Hayat said he had brought birth day gift for Sana but that was also rejected.
On June 2 Sana called him again for meeting. But matter remained as it is. This enraged him.
He intruded into home of Sana and gunned down her in a fit of rage.
This incident took place on June 2 evening when Sana Yousuf 17 was gunned down in her home. She died on the spot in firing by Omar Hayat.
