Islamabad, August 26 (Online): Islamabad High Court (IHC) has issued orders for de-sealing over 100 car show rooms.
Justice Babar Sattar of IHC issued order for hearing the petition filed by over 25 owners of show rooms.
Director Building Control of CDA could not give satisfactory explanation for sealing the show rooms.
It has been said in written order Director Building Control could not tell under what law the show rooms were sealed.
CDA lawyers filed copies of five years old public notice. No show cause notice was given to any person before sealing his show room.
IHC ordered CDA all the show rooms be de-sealed forthwith. Director building control should explain as to why the action be not taken against him. Director CDA should give affidavit as to why action be not taken against him on misuse of powers.
The court while directing CDA to file reply till September 3 adjourned the hearing of the case till September 11.
