ISLAMABAD, SEP 21 (ONLINE): Election result of Balochistan Assembly PB-27 Kech has been challenged in Supreme Court (SC)
Jamil Ahmad Dashti challenged the success of Barkat Ali from PML-N in SC Saturday.
The petition said application was given to Returning Officer (RO) for form 45 and recounting. RO neither provided form 45 nor recounting was conducted. Bogus votes were cast in the constituency. Forensic be got done.
Election Tribunal (ET) dismissed the application on technical grounds rather than hearing the case on merit.
ET had dismissed the plea of Hamid Dashti declaring it non maintainable. ET had maintained the affidavit attached with the application are not attested by competent officer. ET did not make correct review of the law. The decision be declared null and void.
