Cases registered against 5 persons under cyber crime laws

ISLAMABAD, MAY 15 (ONLINE): Cases have been registered under cyber crime laws against 5 persons involved in contemptuous and misleading propaganda against state institutions.

According to National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) spokesperson cases have been registered against 5 accused involved in launching hate campaign against state institutions .
The spokesperson said the accused shared false and provocative material during recent Pakistan-India tension.
It has been said in the text of case the accused shared false and provocative material against Pakistan army and state institutions . The accused remained involved persistently in spreading false and misleading material.
The material spread on social media is cause for fomenting harassment among the people. The accused tried to create chaos, unrest among the people and mistrust against the state.
