Islamabad-January 29 (Online): More than 11 kg of heroin was recovered from a parked vehicle in Sector E-11 of Islamabad.
According to ANF officials, on the information of the intelligence agencies, the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) raided a house in E-11 area of Islamabad and recovered a large quantity of drugs.
According to ANF officials, the seized heroin was hidden in jackets lying inside the vehicle, which weighed 11.94 kg and was valued at crores of rupees in the world market.
Two suspects have also been arrested in the operation, identified as Ghulam Rasool and Amanullah, Ghulam Rasool is an Afghan resident while the other is a resident of Peshawar.
A case has been registered against both the accused and further investigation has been started.
