MULTAN, Jun 21 (APP):Federal government on Tuesday released special grant to Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) triggering process of payments under fuel subsidy to register beneficiaries in south Punjab like elsewhere in the country.
This was stated by zonal director BISP Chaudhary Muhammad Amin while talking to media persons during snap checking and field monitoring of the process.
He said that 8 million BISP registered families would receive Rs 2000 per family in the first phase, however, those who have got themselves registered through 786 would have to wait for the message from the system before they could start receiving payments.
BISP registered beneficiaries can get payments from nearby POS agents nominated by HBL and contact BISP tehsil office in case of any problem.
