Fatehjhang, June 27 (Online): At least five persons were killed and three others sustained bullets injuries and two rivals groups attacked each other over land dispute in Fatehjang town of Attock on Monday, Police and hospital sources said. A man and his son are among dead.
The blood bath shed in Dhoke Mugalan near Dhurnal in the limits of Fatehjnag Police station where a rival group spread bullets over rival groups after exchange of hot words over land dispute. Due to massive firing, eight persons received multiple bullets and five of them died on the spot. The dead were identified as Ishtaque Hussain, Noor Muhammad, Sadaqat Yousaf, Aslan Razzaq and his father Abdul Razzaq. Police sources said that all the victims belongs to Dhoke Mugalan village. The dead and injured were shifted to tehsil headquarters hospital Fatehjang. Pall of fear, panic and gloom spread in the area after the incident.
Meanwhile after getting information, district Police officer Umar Salamat along with contingent of elite force and reserve police force from Police limes Attock reached at the crime scene in Dhoke Mugalan and secured the site as well as tehsil headquarters hospital Fatehjang to avert any further revenge activity. Different teams led by heinous crime investigation unit flanked with IT teams launched haunt to arrest the suspects involved in killing incident.
No any arrest was made till filing news report. Fatehjnag Police was busy in lodging first investigation report over the incident. Moreover, inspector general of police Punjab Rao Sardar Ali Khan has took notice of the killing incident and called detailed report over the issue in 24 hours.
