ISLAMABAD, June 02 (Online): The shifting of district Kutchery to new building has been postponed for indefinite period.
Registrar IHC has issued notification for not shifting district Kutchery to new building.
In a declaration it has been said a letter has been received from Islamabad Bar Association (IBA) wherein the association has expressed concerns over shifting of district kutchery to new building.
IBA made mention of problems related to parking and public washroom.
In this regard a meeting of both the sessions judges, director CDA and SSP Traffic was held.
Director CDA showed willingness to construct more washroom in new building of kutchery.
According to director CDA over 300 vehicles can be parked in new building of kutchery.
According to IBA there should be facility for parking of 800 vehicles therein.
According to SSP Traffic shifting the kutchery to new building will be a risk in this situation. Green belt will be used for parking , the declaration said.
According to director CDA under-construction new parking will be completed within 10 to 15 days. IHC in this situation postpones the shifting of Kutchery to new building for indefinite period.
