LAHORE, Oct 09 (APP):The 48th meeting of the provincial cabinet held under the chair of Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Saturday gave in principal approval of transition plan for local governments (LG) and formation of a high level cabinet committee comprising legal and constitutional experts to make strategy of implementation plan.
Law, local government, prosecution and other relevant departments’ ministers, advocate general and other officials would be part of the committee.
The chief minister issued instructions to provincial ministers, advisors and special assistants to actively participate in ceremonies to celebrate Ashra Rehmatul-lil-Alameen (PBUH) throughout the province.
Usman Buzdar said that celebrations in connection with Ashra Rehmatul-lil-Alameen (PBU) will continue till 12th Rabiul Awal. The ceremonies will be held at provincial, divisional, district and tehsil level.
He said it was an honour for every Muslim to praise the glory of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
The meeting also accorded approval to the decisions of the 47th meeting of the cabinet, 60th, 61st, 62nd meeting of the cabinet standing committee of finance and development and 68th and 69th meetings of the cabinet standing committee on legal affairs.
Provincial ministers, advisors, special assistants, chief secretary and officers concerned attended the meeting.
