Bail plea of stepdaughter’s rapist rejected

Islamabad-January 08 (online): A session court in Islamabad rejected the pre-arrest bail application of a man who allegedly raped his step-daughter, media reported on Saturday.

According to media report, Additional Sessions Judge Muhammad Atta Rabbani issued the written order of the case on Saturday.

As per media report, the sessions court while rejecting accused Muhammad Naseem’s pre-arrest bail application stated that neither the accused appeared before the court nor did he send his lawyer for giving arguments.

The petitioner was accused of raping his step-daughter. The complainant in the case is second wife of the accused.

The court observed that the petitioner did not deserve that he should be granted the extra relief.

The court, therefore, rejects the pre-arrest bail plea of the petitioner and withdraws the interim bail granted to the accused, the court order said.

A case was registered in the Kehna police station against accused Naseem on Dec 1, 2021.

Safina Bibi lodged the complaint against her husband alleging that he raped her daughter, fathered by her ex-husband.
