GILGIT-BALTISTAN, DEC 31 (ONLINE): Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Gilgit (GB) has awarded 34 years imprisonment and 6 lac fine to former Chief Minister (CM) Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) Khalid Khurshid in the case of giving threats of dire consequences.
Judge Rehmat Shah of ATC Gilgit while completing the proceedings of the case announced to award 34 years imprisonment and Rs 6 lac fine to former CM GB .
Khalid Khurshid remained absent and absconded from proceedings of the case.
The court ordered IG Police the culprit be arrested and shifted to jail.
The court ordered Director General NADRA to block national identity card of the culprit.
It is pertinent to mention here the accused was charged with hurling threats of dire consequences to security institutions, chief secretary GB and chief election commissioner GB.
