Islamabad-February 02 (Online): the Anti-narcotics force (ANF) has seized 64 kg of narcotics from a vehicle on the Srinagar highway in Islamabad.
On the information of intelligence a search of the vehicle turned up 48 kg of opium and 16 kg of hashish. The drugs were secretly hidden in the boot of the vehicle.
During the operation, two accused were arrested including resident of Gujranwala Tanveer Akhter and resident of Jehlum Tanveer Ahmed.
According to the spokesperson ANF, a case has been registered against the accused under the anti-narcotics Act and further investigation has been started.
