Karachi-January 29 (Online): Judicial Magistrate South handed over the accused to the police on physical remand in the case of alleged abuse of a mentally handicapped girl by a police officer at Jinnah Hospital Colony.
Mukhtiar alias Rana was arrested by the police in the case of alleged rape of a mentally handicapped girl in Jinnah Hospital Colony before the court. The investigating officer said that the incident of alleged rape took place on July 28, 2021. But when the parents checked up, they found out about the abuse.
Neighboring police officer Mukhtiar alias Rana allegedly raped the mentally handicapped girl at gunpoint and threatened to kill her if she told about the abuse. Progress report requested.
According to police, a case of alleged rape has been registered at the Women South Police Station.
