ISLAMABAD, Jul 15 (APP): Six people died while four injured in a tragic traffic accident on Monday near the Loni Kot interchange on the Karachi-Hyderabad Motorway (M-9) in District Jamshoro, Sindh.
According to a private news channel, police said that a Mazda carrying fruits collided with a trawler while heading towards Karachi. The collision resulted in the deaths of six individuals, including two brothers.
The victims were identified as 28-year-old Nanji, 30-year-old Imdad Hussain, 28-year-old Amerji, 35-year-old Ramesh, Jitan, and another Ramesh. The Mazda was traveling from Hyderabad to Karachi when the accident occurred.
Four other individuals were critically injured and have been transported to the District Headquarters Hospital in Kotri for medical treatment.
The police are investigating the cause of the collision, while rescue operations are ongoing.
